Oh so this thing that I thought was encrusting is actually branching.

it originally was just encrusting over half a frag plug that had a Zoa on it. Now look at it

Definitely not the same mystery I have, despite them looking so similar with polyps out. Mine is 100% encrusting.

@Eagle_Steve ,sorry Ali...wrong mindset to offer advice... :)
My idea in purchasing the 4 dosing pump is to use three for the two part balling. And then the fourth was either for feeding (extra long tube to display) or to manage nitrate & phosphates via chemical additives ( NOPOx/ vibrant/ brightwell phosphate-e)

So if I add NOPOX to one of the dosers, that would be ‘ideal’ ??
Would be consistent, yes. I'm personally not a fan of nopox - caused more issues than it fixed. Hopefully someone else can chime in but I'd think as long as you get an accurate enough doser you'll be fine. What's the daily dosage you need? Jebaos don't do great under 2ml long-term with consistency in my experience

With my last post stated: I run 2 jebaos. I'm not against them as a brand, but everything I dose is in 2ml at a time or higher quantity.

Right now I do 10mL once a week. I think of I did 2mL/day it would actually show improvement because at the 10mL/week my phosphates aren’t dropping (even with chemipure blue and phosguard) and the nitrates stay around 25-30

Go for it. Unless someone with more experience with that product chimes in and says otherwise lol

My nitrates are snoop high but my tank doesn't care at all ;) I have more valuable things to put on those dose heads

Would t have know it was branching if I didn’t look at it at night.

Coincidentally, I just checked on mine a couple nights ago - it's way bigger than I realized - but definitely not branching at this point

I agree when I tried to use nopox and such my tank had issues. My nitrates are over 100 and nothing cares.
