Yeah, i was all about "just observe. dont test too frequently" but now that my tank had a GHA bloom, then subsequent goof of water change that spiked my alkalinity.... I NEED to test until I get back to base level. About to go "borrow" some KOH to raise my pH (7.5 today :/) and see if that helps lower the alk and mag.

I could also just purchase more corals to consume the alk and mag.... but hey... who am I to say this lol
