Ah geez is it!?! It’s like a tube open at the top. It’s just as hard as the coral so I left it. Should I take the hammer to it?!
Pair of pliers out of tank, break off, rinse in a little old tank water and then superglue gel over it. Acro will grow over superglue.

Gotcha!
dang rookies!
That’s if vermatid. Google it and compare. Duster can be removed and placed elsewhere with a little work. I remove all from acro colonies, as dusters will still irritate the polyps near it. Not hurt them, but annoy them to where you can get no PE in that area.

Looks like there might be another down at the bottom right of the frag plug sticking out horizontally to.-yup

Beautiful piece. Where'd you get it? Are those colors pretty true to life?

I think my bubble coral did in my only acro stick. Moved some things around, next morning, they were at war. Bubble had at least 5 sweepers in the stick

Guys, PLEASE tell me I’m not crazy...

Last night, I saw 2 things that LOOKED like 2 blue starfishes.

I must be paranoid, but I swear I saw them. In actuality, they looked like blue blobs with 4 “spikes” instead of 5.

Naturally, I couldn’t get any photos, but have any of you ever seen something like this before?

Suppose it would matter what kind of dip. Beyer, probably not.

There are other, less caustic options. I wonder if any of those are feather duster safe.
Light iodine dip is fine for feather dusters.

Probably blue Asterina. Not friendly to Zoas. I kill them on sight. In fact, I've started feeding them directly to the Harly who will now take Asterina from my tweezers.
