Ok, yesterday I got 3 Sexy Shrimp, because well...they're sexy. Tiny little things. So I get home today and cant see any of them. So I get out the flashlight and still nothing to be found. I have a 20g cube so it's not quite like a needle in a haystack. decide to check the filter sock and yupperoo...all three are in there.
Manage to get them out of there and back into the tank only to watch my female clown charge the smallest one and it's dead. I mean c'mon!!!
I've only had them less than 24 hours so haven't exactly built up an emotional attachment yet , so all I can think is that's $20 I could have spent on gin ;Facepalm

Well that sucks. A stupid cleaner scrymp jumped into my tubes mouth day one. $40 buys a lot of beer water!

I've got 4 conches and 15 zombies. Those are my corps CUC for the sand bed, if you don't count the spaghetti bowl of pencil length bristle worms. My conches are never in the same spot very long. Maybe you got a lazy model

Almost looks like a dead branch. Either way, I say snip off and glue over.

The surgery was a success. It was a hollow tube about 1 cm in length and I don't know what it was but it's better that it's gone. Snipped off the other things on the side as well.

I have the same thing. Have not set it up. Let me know if it's easy and how you like it

I have 2 of them and they are easy to setup. Just be sure to calibrate them using the same thing you plan to dose. If you use water or something else, it will be wrong.

For example, calcium is thicker than alkalinity. So if you calibrate the heads all the same, it will not be the correct amount actually dosed.

I have two climbing conchs. They climb the overflow the glass and even get on frag racks

Just got the new powerhead! I'm loving it. (And no, I don't work for McDonalds)

I love how small and compact it is! The flow is also really nice. I tried the "random flow", but the clowns didn't like it. -_- (So right now it is on mode 2, aka the "constant flow" setting)

Also recieved the kH and phosphate kits! Now I finally know where I stand...

Calcium: 400ppm-420ppm
kH: 200ppm
Phosphate: 0.25ppm
