Sexy Shrimp saga continues.
Wake up this morning and check the tank, like always, and again no sign of the sexy pair. Yup, they're back in the filter sock. So is this my life now? Wake up , save sexy, rinse repeat ?
Are They just Sparta kicking themselves over your overflow? Would an acrylic piece on top help?

ya but it's not going to matter soon. Whoever said clowns don't eat shrimp is sadly mistaken. That's 2 down now and 1 to go. :(

This is a mini peninsular, I don't clean the side glass so it has good grip, it goes up slowly grazing like a slow windshield wiper, hits top or bottom, moves across towards the grubby side and goes down or up, makes me smile a lot. :)
mine starts up and then rolls over on his back.

Congrats dude!
Thanks!

Started drip acclimating all the zoas and palys. After they go in, it’ll be the shrooms, and then last but not least, the hammer!

(And yes, the hammer is 2 headed)

Terrible picture, lol.

Do any of you guys ever drip acclimate your corals? I have done it with fish/corals in the past, but I was wondering what your guys opinions are?

I don't . I just temp acclimate if necessary then dip, check super closely for pestys, rinse then in they go. I don't even start them out on the sand. If they've lived for awhile at a certain par and flow then I get them back to the same as soon as possible. I see no need to stress them out even more by getting them used to a spot they aren't used to and then changing them again.
probably not the way to do it but it makes sense to my little mind.

Well, my artic ice palys are literally 2 inches from the surface, and they are thriving. People told me they were going to bleach, and yet they didn’t!

Going to add the zoas now! Been temperature acclimating for 30 minutes, along with a 2ml squirt of tank water.
