Yes, love the vitamin drops. I don't generally use it for the fish specifically, but I will soak flakes for newbies with that for the first few days - everyone loves it

Then your tank is already used to getting a top off once a week, I wouldn't worry about it. Don't overcomplicate it and stress yourself out needlessly.

Be careful feeding heavy. This can spike nitrates phosphates and ammonia. I would Fred small amou to multiple times a day if any increase in overall consumption is to occur
