Ok, off that subject.

How is everyone doing today?

Me, ok. Have 8 more days until I start to make the wife mad with, “hmmm, how am I going to bring back 80 fish, dock rocks and all this macro back from Florida?”
Tired.

Overnight shift last night, came out of building to dead battery. Took 35+ min to get it to finally jump properly. Came home to snoring husband so didn't get much sleep.

About to leave for work again.

There's legit probably not a person on this planet that more well versed in cycling and reef chemistry on tanks in general. Most searches I run pulls up his posts going back 10-15yrs.
Ever meet a cowboy? I thought they only existed in movies until I moved to AZ. Its a real thing and just how cowboys roll. I'll take cowboys over that down south speak all day long. I cant make a word out one way or the other haha.

We haven’t made it up to the court room yet :)
you can't enter the entire building here with one. I went to get my background check/paper work for my cpl and got sent at the door back to my car to leave the phone there.

I'm doing pretty good.
My 125's are cleaned and ready for setup at some point, I am designing a new stand to change my current reef plan to the 125 reef display tank with the 90 as a macroalgae display sump and some 20-highs as equipment sump for filtration/heaters/returns/additional rock/etc., and I am about to have some time off work to finish my house remodel and continue work on my FW and marine aquarium setups!

Oh, and this means that I will have a basement setup with the previous (still not quite finished) stand using a 75 as display and 75 as sump... This will be for not-reef-safe and/or "quarantine".

When are you heading down for your collecting trip?

What's your normal protocol for bringing back fish rocks and macro? I'd assume totes and coolers?

Friday the second. Spend the weekend with dad and the rest of the week snorkeling and diving.

As for collection, I have that down.

Multiple coolers with battery and solar for shore storage. Collection vessels for when in water. Trip home is coolers hooked up to power inverter with pumps and all items needed to keep stuff alive.

Let me see if I can find the photos of my setup.

I agree it's pretty bizarre. I've observed them in there and they just climb up and down the inside of the sock. The flow is fairly strong but not enough to dislodge them apparently. I dunno.
I'll try and get a pic somehow but it's kinda dark so we'll see.

best I could do for a picture. The grid pattern is just a reflection.

Here they are.

Solar on lids to charge battery. Battery box has j hooks attached to hang on cart or set on ground.

I carry 4 large coolers and 2 small ones. Also carry tons of bags from lfs and buckets. Last haul from spring break is somewhere in this thread lol. Around first of April.

Found them.

Rocks are what I call dock rocks. I hang dry rock off my dads dock on the inter coastal. Being as they never touch bottom, are photographed with a tag on them when dry and placed in water, photographed when removed, they are not restricted.

Mangroves all grew from pods in buckets in my dads back yard and are watered with old tank water from his tank.

I also have a commercial license, so can harvest a bit more than the average individual for macros.

Rule one: follow the laws. FWC will bury you if you don’t.
