Guys, I think Duncan’s might be my new favorite LPS…

It’s just SO gorgeous. The colors just pop, even without the blues on.

I know they aren’t anemones, or even in the same family, but they remind me so much of nems!!

Ok, so if you guys remember, I want to get an orchid dottyback for my 29g. You guys said it should work out great and that I have plenty of room.

Well… here it goes.

I’m considering rescuing one from PetCo, as opposed to getting it at my LFS.

Now, don’t get mad at me for saying this, but the PetCo in Lexington is actually rather OK, with a decent selection of fish. (Right before I left on my trip, I posted some photos of the fish they had there)

If they have an orchid, and I don’t see any signs of fowl play, I MIGHT get it.

BUT, I want you guys opinions first. :)

It’s a risk.
Could be ok
Could give everyone in your tank ick, velvet, or brook.
Ask @Lost in the Sauce about that type of trauma

Hmm, ok.

I have never QT’d anything in my whole life, so I guess I’m one of those people that doesn’t care about QT? Sounds bad, but I’ve just never done it.

That’s what’s making me hesitate. I never QT anything, and I’ve never had any issues. However, it could just be that I’ve been really lucky.
