Hey y’all I need your opinions. Does this look like aptasia to you? I’ve never seen it yellow before but this popped up out of nowhere. Odd thing is, it’s only on the base of this hammer that sits in the sand bed

I see what Frank is saying but I'm going to say not Aptasia, But some sort of pest anemone solely based on the tentacles being twice the width of the whole face plate.

That’d be a nice surprise!

I think you might be right. I’m sure F-Aptasia will take care of them. Kinda wanna let them stick around but I’m sure that would end up being my downfall lol

I have a variety of what I believe are feather dusters in my tank, but this one looks too much like an anemone. But it also retracts really quickly like a feather duster

Does anyone know what the red growth on the lobo in pic #2 is? My tanks just full of mysteries lately yet it’s doing better than ever. I love the natural reef feel it gives the tank
can't name it off top of my head ,but nothing to worry about, filter feeder ...

Oh cool good to know! I love hitchhikers that benefit the tank and make it look more natural at the same time.
