    Hi all

Well it's been a long 2 months with out a tank, I am a week away from delivery now so I thought i'd start my thread.
The tank is a 3x2x2 optiwhite front and side, Here is a picture of how the tank looks as of yesterday.

[IMG]10527479_310022825838347_4346387643053909263_n by Sea Wookie, on Flickr

The tank is going to have 2 x ocean life returns and black viynl added to the back and side.
The stand is steel which has been powder coated, This will be clad in high gloss black panels.
The tank will also be Euro braced.

I have already got all my equipment,

    Return Flow
    Dc3000 x2

    Heating and cooling
Aquamedic titanium heater, Aquamedic heating and cooling controller and GHL breeze fans

    Flow
    Mp10's x 3

    Doser
    GHL independent 3 channel doser

    Lights
    8x39w ATI Hybrid

    Skimmer
    Deltec sc1455

    Top up
    Tunze 3155

    Reactor
    D&D frm

I have over the last 6 or 7 weeks been treating dead rock to rid of p04, It has been bleached,de chlorinated and dried in between each step.
The rock has been sat in a container with a mp10 and a reactor with rowaphos and RO, Every 3 days I have been switching out the rowa and RO.
I made a few mock ups of the scape and also had a play around with my angle grinder.

I intend to cut certain pieces so they hang neatly over the step, I only cut one piece as I want to do the rest to suit the tank.

The ceiling has been cut and noggins fitted to hang the lights

All work is finished and the room decorated.

The lights are absolutely amazing :)

I have also been rinsing Carribsea sand, It has been a long process and I couldn't believe the amount of cr@p that has been coming off the sand.
It is currenting soaking in RO which I have been changing daily.
Not much else really to say, But I will leave you with a picture of one of my corals that a friend is looking after for me.

    LOL yes Rev, But what?
I don't like seeing these sort of titles "GHL Hybrid Vortech deltec powered reef"
So I thought of just a simple "My Tank" I did think of "Another step bigger"

    Thank you all..
Yes the light is the T5 led hybrid from ATI.
2x75w clusters of led and 8x39w T5. It's a beautiful light with serious punch.

Mick looks awsome and its empty. Imagine when you are done with it. What made you decide to do the triton method? Is that what you had before?
