fish are prob just hiding,are the probes for apex soaking in there? can you set it up?

I have new probes..I need to do a water change, and set the apex/dos/ddr up too..

i would say yes,but it can wait until tomorrow just check your salinity tonight ,lot of surface water in tub

I marked the water level with some magnets, so I’ve been able to keep up with that

These pics were taken with a phone filter so everything is brightened up

Brown algae thick, start of cyno. Got apex & probes set up. Manually tested alk/calcium/salinity...alkalinity was 5.5 ...I was using the wrong water volume amount when testing and adding pt2..calc was 420. I usually run 8-8.5/430. Salinity crept to 1.027 (1.026)..ph is8.3. I’ll set up trident tomorrow

I’m very excited...MY WHITETAIL CAME OUT!!!..he’s hiding again, but at least I know he’s okay.

Setting up the Trident and DOS/DDR tomorrow. Haven’t heard back from lfs..I’ll keep you posted.

keep an eye on birds nest white tip on top if gets worse cut it off lil deeper than the white,

So close, yet so far

Yeah, having a hard time getting back the desire. My mom had hip surgery this past week and she is also dealing with dementia. We have been pretty busy taking care of her and her personal business. She is in rehab in the hospital right now. Sitting on my patio at the moment sipping on a brain numbing Zombie cocktail.

Sick as a dog..again. Yesterday was setting up Trident, which didn’t cooperate, so just set up the dos/ddr. Then it was time to start laundry and...washer died after one load. Going to try and catch up before meds kick in again
