Your not kidding prices on fish have skyrocketed
Coral too! We don’t have a LFS anymore where I live, but I can remember bringing home some good sized specimens for a reasonable price. Now it seems everything is expensive and between 1”-2” in size. I am glad I am not a coral collector. My tanks have always been me trying to make a display that looks as natural as I can make it. I never was one to display corals like they were gems in a jewelry store display case. To each his own, I suppose.

I'm like you. Whiter lights. The fish are just as cool as the coral

Corals can still be pretty in predominantly white light, but fish more so lol.

Even in a ton of natural sunlight.

Have the weekend to myself, so I can spend more time here..finally;Hilarious

Maybe I’ll finally get to order some fish. My water is too clean, so I can’t add any algae eaters.

Latest additions to list are..
Bimaculatus Anthias..already have Disbar Anthias on the list..can’t decide which ones. Would love at least five.
Female Swallowtail Tiger Angelfish

Need help with what order to add fish. I know u should add the more aggressive last, but not all fish labeled “peaceful” are and vice-versa.;Wacky

Please help before my brain explodes. I need to decide what fish to add first and what order to add some of the others. I’m not worrying about the Tangs, since they will go in last

2 Picasso clowns are already in the tank

Anthias are narrowed down to the bimac or disbars 3-5 females.
Magnificent Foxface
Midas Blenny

The wrasses are making me nuts..I WANT THEM ALL!...
‘Exquisite
Splendid
Naoko’s
Labouti
Pink Streaked
Red-Lined
..and many more.

Suggestions please!

Nice wrasse list. The addiction is real! LOL

I would suggest adding the pink-streaked first since it’s the most timid upon introduction. Add the Naokoae last it can be aggressive towards other fairies. The rest of your wrasse list can be added in any order. An acclimation box helps.

Can’t wait to see pics once you start building your wrasse collection!

Should he go in before anthias/foxface/blenny?

I would add him before the Midas blenny, but the other fish should be fine to add beforehand.

Just stopping by to say hi and good night..a lot of manual labor today:p

Hope everyone has had a good day. I’m hoping to have some spare time tomorrow. I’ve been working on a stocking list for the new tank. This is what I have so far...opinions/suggestions welcome:)

Scopas Tang
*White Tail Bristletooth Tang
Purple Tang
Powder Blue Tang
Disbar Anthias
*Magnificent Foxface
Midas Blenny
*Exquisite Fairy Wrasse
*Splendid Pintail Wrasse
*Pink Streaked Wrasse
*Naoko’s Fairy Wrasse…really want this one, but I’ve read he may not play nice with the others
*Labouti Fairy Wrasse
*Rhomboid Fairy Wrasse
McCosker’s Flasher Wrasse
Yellow Coris

Night everyone!
Ha! I am not going to be any help. After almost 40 years in the hobby, the only fish I have ever had on this list is a Purple Tang. I suppose I was never much of a fish guy. :)
