Did you say you could see sharks and dolphins from your room? If so, Sweeet!

Well here's where I am as of right now, finally got the intake side of the system wrapped up. The stand the pumps are sitting on is temporary while the permanent one is being built. I didn't have room for the amount of unions I wanted so where I couldn't I used threaded joints instead.

Now for a little lunch break and then on to the returns! And yes I'm well aware the underside of the plywood isn't painted. :)
But you’re going to fix that right?

Looks nice and clean. Great job.

Does this mean that by the end of the week you might finally have water (even if it is sans salt)?o_O:)

Thank you! And yes, hopefully by the end of the day today it will have some water in it :)

Just for you. An ocean view.

I love it! Thank you :D Still jealous of the view!

But you’re going to fix that right?

The paint? Yes once the leak test is done I will look after the painting of the underside. When I was painting originally I had run out of paint at the time and decided to just leave it until I had the motivation and time to do it again. The outside of the stand needs a little more work as well after moving it, some touch ups and a final coat should do the trick :)

Well, plumbing is 100% complete on the closed loop. Testing tomorrow morning as it's a little late right now to fill it up.

It's not as straight away as I had hoped, due to the space constraints I mentioned yesterday. But, still happy with it, I might have to upgrade the pumps given all the extra head height involved. But we'll see how things go tomorrow first. :)

I've seen @Katrina71's thread floating around but never clicked out of intimidation.

You should put more water in it. And then put some salt in it. ;)

I do agree it can be a scary place sometimes with people like @najer Kicking around  and all in due time working on a couple leaks right now first!

You are taking a beating over a dry tank right as it is the closest it has been. Bunch of meaners. ;Hilarious

I know right! Atleast theres water in it now, even if it's the wrong kind ;Smug
