Subscribed! I've been out of the hobby for 6 years and am now diving right back into it. I'm also in the process of setting up a shallow tank. This time, I'm going for a 22g long, 2x Hydra 26s, and a 20g sump/fuge. I've just about pieced everything together and will start my own journal soon. I can't wait to see your progress as I already see some parallelism with your tank! Keep up the good work [emoji108]

Finally som updates on the tank, got my eshopps eclipse s today, and the first day free in a week

the leak test went fine, and then it was time to get the brown pants on [emoji28][emoji23]

It was a little daunting at first but, it was not that bad went through without troubles but of course it got dark so I’ll take some pictures further down the line

Been working a bit on the cabinet but right now it looks like world war 5 so bear with me on that for a couple of days going to start curing the rock tomorrow so now we hope for an understanding spouse [emoji12] well I guess if it’s in a room where we basically never use and a bag of carbon she won’t kill me, so if you don’t hear from me again.....

When I cured some dead liverock two years ago it smelled so bad that I first thought my neighbor had died.. I'm currently curing som more rock and keep a lid on the bucket

Yeah man I think I’ll be raising it a bit with some acrylic but I’ll post a pic on the waterlevel, yeah I bought a thick lid [emoji28]

Hello everyone, I will have a week of the build for some family business, but updates will probably roll in next week [emoji1308]

So had some time to rethink the cable management so I’ve made a compartment where all the wires will be routed and stored with some quick release hinges, still thinking about where to put the controllers though

sorry about the shady pics ‍ hopefully plumbing will be here before Saturday but the sump is at least a week away, still thinking about going red pvc or soft tubing [emoji28] haven’t tested my rock from the curing but the smell is gone [emoji50] I mean I’ve used that rock for years I figured that the stench was going to be awful for weeks

So I took a detour red pvc is of because it was a bit of a waiting time for it, so I’m gonna go all grey and hopefully it will reach me tomorrow and I can dry fit and water check it before we go in to winter [emoji85] and I have a new design on the controllers I’ll update later this week [emoji1305]

Finally I got some work done ,,, yaayy!! Been planning the plumbing and unfortunately the sump had baffles, which I might remove later [emoji848] well no big deal, so I’m currently in the plumbing stages and i think the tank will (if the stars align) be wet before Christmas, had to change the bulkheads to European metric, and I’m going to drill the return line hopefully this weekend, made a hatch for all the controllers to hide away in, but man I’m getting itchy fingers [emoji28]
Anyway I’ll update soon, keep reefing [emoji1308]
