My skimmer is making a weird popping noise.

I have a reef octopus elite 150-s protein skimmer and it keeps making popping sound. The popping noise is happing around ever 5-10 seconds or so and it’s really loud. And I have also had trouble tuning it over the last month

I think your pump might have something stuck in it..
Have you served the pump? Have the pump ever run dry?

I just figured it out, I looked at the instructions and something g got twisting in the completely wrong direction.
