Started getting the middle structure together.

Trying to make as many caves and overhangs as possible while keeping the tank open for fish to swim and corals to grow. I also tried to make the different overhangs not go directly over the ones beneath so I have good light exposure all the way down as well. The pictures, to me, aren't really doing much justice for the real depth and shapes of the rocks.

Exactly what id be doing too. I actually want to do a tonga branch style structure.

Are you confident that glue is a strong hold?

Oh, its really strong! And it sets instantly! Just make sure you get the gluemasters brand. I watch a video where they demonstrated which glues were good and not so good. The Gluemasters was the best. 32.00 for an 8oz. Bottle with the shipping.

Finally got some water in this thing today.

Got some baby clowns to start off with. Drip acclimation for 2 hours. Water looking good. I have a 7 stage ro/di.

Water parameters:

Temp 76
Salinity = 1.025 (refractometer)
Ph = 8.2 (red sea)
Ammonia = 0 (red sea)
Nitrite = less than 2 (red sea)
Nitrate = 0

LOL!! In this thread and in your other, you tried to pass this off as being a project/gift 'for your son.' It seems like 'dad' is having all the fun. (And doing a fantastic job, by the way.) Do you want to offer any proof that you even HAVE a son? Ahhahahah. Best wishes.

The third kessil a80 showed up today. That made the spread of light better throughout the tank.

Got a 15 watt sterilizer coming Friday I just need to pick a pump for it. Probably get one of the tunze skimmers next week or so. Still have to set up the auto top off and auto water change.

So this morning I got the pump ordered for the sterilizer. I just ordered the same type mighty jet that came with the Nuvo tank. Seems to be quiet enough. However.... I just bit the bullet for 2 MP10's as well. Should move things around nicely for corals that I plan I putting here.
