Sterilizer and vortech mp 10's showed up today. Its been a long day of getting some of the livestock out of the other tank acclimating all over again setting up sterilizer, mp10's, the third kessil and light controller. Setup the auto top off. I have to route and tidy the rest of the wiring. Then i will start to build the cabinet doors and a shelf. I picked up 3 5.5 gallon rimless tanks at petco for ro/di top off, fresh saltwater, and a waste tank. I'll have to get some acrylic sheets and fabricate some lids for them. Other than that its coming along nicely. I'll get some pictures tomorrow. Everything is sleeping in there at the moment.

Ok... so now that this little tank is up and running, I need to finally make the interior shelf, the 2 front doors, and the fully enclosed canopy. Seems im going to have to get 2 sets of fans. One for each end so I can vent the top. My tank temperature stays steady at about 75-76 degrees. With the 3 kessil a80's being in an enclosed top the tank might warm up a bit. Guess its time to get out to the garage and start building! Funny how even the smallest of tanks can tear up thousands of dollars quickly! Hence the reason my 275 gallon is taking so long.

So it has been a while since I posted any updates on the tank. So I will share some pics of the evolution of this 30 gallon tank. It has become a massive money pit to say the least. Just about every single piece of coral in here has come from Worldwide Corals. The tank is now 9 months old. I've gone through some trial and error. But everything seems to be balanced out now. I held off on doing the auto water change for a bit. But now I just ordered all the equipment to make that happen. Started brs 2 part along with Tropic Marin trace elements. In the near future I will be adding the ghl kh director and the ion director. I find myself not having as much time as I would like to do all of the upkeep manually as much as I would like. So automating the important stuff should make my life easier and the tank inhabitants happier.

Here are a few more. Our Colorado sunburst split about 2 months ago. So we have 2 now. I lost some corals due to not being able to take care of the tank properly for a bit. Traveling too much for work. Hence the auto-water change and dosing pump system that will arrive in 2 days. Got to
