We are new to the hobby this build is about 3 months in. My wife has wanted a salt water tank for almost 30 years. I just joined the site yesterday. I handle the equipment my wife handles the livestock. Since the shop we bought the tank from set it up, I have changed over to apex for controlling it. I went with apex as an afterthought, we did start with their ATK from new. The I as looking for an ato reservoir and found one with an LSS porat. I had to look up what an LSS was. Once I saw it I was hooked, I bought the apex pro kit. Since then I have added a cor-15, a dos, trident, a 4” lss and another eb8232. I am on my 3rd revision of moving equipment around.

We just started dosing 2 part on Sunday.

To do on the equipment side;
implement Voss bottles for dosing and trident waste
moving the ato to the left side of the case
cable management
apex programming for feed schedules and for the avast plank feeder
figure out which camera works with the apex
install the clear view top

equipment list
Red Sea reef led 90 lights
Red Sea wave 25
Red sea reef mat
Red Sea skimmer

My BFAM. No fair. I'm 3 months in and only have this:

Looks like we are headed down the same path though. Hopefully I'll be picking up my RSR 350 tomorrow. Going with ReefMat right off the bat too. That large LLS is for my 20g ATO tank I made. I agree with your LLS comment, just waiting to see real world performance and reliability.
I have the same VOSS bottles even (though I'm still drinking the water. It's not as good as everyone says).
I'm not sure if I'll go the Neptune route so will follow to see how you like it.

You have a bunch of apex equipment, you might just want to bite the bullet. I like my trident. I love the feeding programs on the apex but you need their power strips. I wish I had used them to begin with. the tank is the rsr 350g2

Well, we are setup to make our own Rodi water now. I sent out icp tests for my tap water as we are on a well, the refrigerator water as there is a filter there, and the rodi. My storage tank should be here Thursday.
