Mystery growth

I have a few of these circular growths in my tank. It looks like some type of algae or Cyanobacteria.

If anyone knows what it is how do I get rid of it??

I can't seem to make out what you are referring to but it seems like start of green hair algae.

How long has the tank been up?
Do you by chance have nitrate and phosphate numbers?

Most of the time regardless of type of algae increasing or decreasing one will allow more beneficial organisms to outcompete.

Tank has been running since the first week of may.

Nitrates are steadily at 5ppm
Phosphates are steadily at .25

My algae in my sump is growing fast. I have to remove a good chunk every other week.

By chance have you poked them with a stick? Are they hard, or does it move or contract?

Green circles? Should be green coralline. Usually green coralline is the first to appear, and especially if significant p04 is available. Completely harmless
