A few weeks back i purchased this beautiful wrasse. In 20 years of wrasses all have covered the reef picking and eating flat worms, etc. This mystry I have does not cruse and pick. Just sort of hangs in one area is this a normal behavior. Some imput please.

mine was shy and didnt do too much in the beginning either. after a little while he adjusted and now cruises the tank. he is still however the most skidish fish in my tank. if i raise my hand up in front of the tank he darts

My mystery wrasse was a very shy fish, so it probably will take some time before your fish takes on "normal" behavior. I had him for 5 years and he was one of my all time favorite fish until one day he jumped out of my tank :-(, so don't forget to have a good cover!

cheers,
Darren
