Hello everyone,

I could use some feedback on my aquascape.
I know I already made at least one mistake, the rock comes within 1 inch of the glass. I can clean the glass now, but if softies cover the rock it might become an issue.

I made the classics “place the rock in the tank so it looks good” mistake, forgetting about coral space and growth.

It was worse, but I was able to hammer and saw the rock down to get enough clearance to clean. I can also adjust the rock in the sand to get more clearance for the front glass. It’s one piece, so I could move it slightly during cleaning.

eedback would be greatly appreciated:)

I agree like above it looks great! I like the deep sand bed too! What fish are you putting in there? If you end up putting a pistol shrimp in there it’s going to be in heaven lol

I think it looks great to be honest. You have limited room due to the size of the tank but I think you did awesome keep it as is

Thanks everyone.

I did add a red banded pistol shrimp with yasha goby, plus a clownfish and a bunch of LPS and softies.

Before I added livestock, I removed the sand, put the live rock (which is one solid piece epoxied together) on the bare bottom, then put the sand back. That way the pistol shrimp can dig as much as it wants and they won’t get crushed.

I also got a Nano Flipper which is small and thin enough to clean the glass.
