My nano is my introduction to reefing, but I havent started cycling or anything as Amazon sucks lol. It shouldve arrived yesterday, but it got delayed to Wednesday then again to Saturday. The order has my kits and refractometer.
The wait is killing me

We love our small but not really I guess nano tank. Favorite's I would say pistol shrimp and watchman. New to the forum and learning to navigate.

Had nanos together with large tanks in the past, now downsized to 3 picos. Less work, but the problems, when they arise, are the same as in any other reef tank.

Waterbox 30.2 AIO Mixed Reef tank

I’ve always been drawn to nano reefs due to the appeal of 1) the “coolness factor” of looking at a small cube of water with so much awesome color and diversity of life, 2) Ease of water changes and maintenance, and most importantly, 3) My wife lets me have it where I can see it everday by entrance to our house due to its small footprint….lol.

I wish my lemon-live favites looked like that! I can almost never get it to have those contrasting center mouth rings! NICE looking tank!

Oh boy. Here comes the thread to make me sad about ma nano.

This photo is NOT for inspiration. Just to let people see the rats nest. White light is on just to show the mess.

The nano appealed to me because it can fit right on my desk and I can put on some headphones and zone out right next to my PC.

13 gallon just shy of a year old. Like I said I have made changes this past month to it. (Refugium, urchin etc...
It looks great!

What do you currently stock in it?

Thanks!! Have you tried broadcast or target feeding it some type of small particle food? Also, medium lighting helps as opposed to low.

It looks great!

What do you currently stock in it?

Fish (which I think are in trouble due to fish disease) : Midas Blenny and RG Basslet
Inverts: Royal Urchin, Sand Sifting Cuc, 2 turbo snails, snapping shrimp, 5 or so hermit crabs
Corals : Nemesis chalice, 1 Acan, 1 torch, 5 different zoas, 1 kenya tree, 1 darth maul favite, 1 boogie nights blastamussa, 3 green mushrooms, 1 green star polyp, 1 meteor shower chyphastrea

I think my tank might be cursed with the ick cause I don't have the space/money for a QT tank so I suffer the consequences. My midas blenny is on his last breath I think. Going from one end of the tank to the other and staying in the top corner, biting his own tail too. I tried some fluconazole and it seemed to help the basslet.

This is going to be a coral and invert tank only me thinks.

Fluval Evo 13.5 that I picked up from a LFS that was closing. This is an older picture, the corals have filled out much more and I’ve done many upgrades (AI prime light, Sicce pump, Nero WaveMaker and skimmer. Like others have said, I tend to gravitate more to this tank than I do my 75g.
