This was one of my favorite tanks when I had just gotten to the end of the hobby about 9 years ago. We were buying a 100 year old farm house without AC, and the floors where not the best. So the fish tanks had to go. This one was sitting on my desk at work. I would watch the goby and shrimp work all day as well.

Shrimp and Goby hard at work.

I don't have a Nano at the moment.
There's just something special and charming about smaller tanks. Nice Hex tank!

I have a relatively new (started this year, my first reef tank) 30 ltr nano. Due to lock down it only had one coral in it until a couple of months ago. I've just started feeding recently. Will be adding a few more corals in the new year.

Two days until my first corals come. It's taken me about a month to even decide what I want to do with coral after setup. My firefish was, of course, hiding.

Loving all these beautiful nano tanks. I currently have a Red Sea Reefer 350, stocked with some baby/juvenile tangs and angelfish and I've decided I just can't deal with the stress of upgrading to the larger tank these guys are going to need as they grow larger so I'm going to sell them, keep my clownfish and some shrimp/crabs and downsize to a low maintenance nano that I can keep near my desk instead of a monster tank in another room that I don't see that often.

I love reef tanks, and I recently downsized from a 125 gallon reef tank to my present 29 gallon reef tank. I did it because I had to. I wasn't able to keep the 125 any longer but I need to keep a reef tank as it is my favorite hobby. I really enjoy the nano tank, but I do miss my larger tank and the options it gave me because of the size. I was going to put the baby yellow tang in my nano tank into my 125 when it got too large for my nano, but now I am going to have to rehome it and never again keep a tang. My algae eating fish of choice for the nano is going to be a starry blenny. I have tuxedo urchins and snails in the tank right now to assist with algae removal.

Tanks are like smartphone screens, you'll get used to a bigger one in no time. In the end your 600 gallon tank looks exactly like your first 15 gallon tank.
Moral: be happy with your nano. :)
