So I have some GSP that I want to have some waves for and some pulsing xenia that I would prefer not, but all the wave makers seem WAY over powered for my 14 gallon Nano. Smallest I could find as a 540 gallons an hour! Think that would make my tank a tornado!

anyone know of a nice small wave maker for some directed usage in a small tank?

Thanks

Perhaps a little pricey, but they are FULLY programmable. (iPhone for sure; don’t remember about Android.) I have one in use on my 20 gallon now, but have used them on tanks as small as 7 gallons. Get the small one for your size tank.

I did end up getting one of these, though the android app leaves much to be desired.

The smallest controllable pump I found when I was briefly looking was from current USA (660 GPH from memory).

I ended up buying the Aqamai but it is still in the box. At the moment my 13 gal Evo is doing ok with a slightly upgraded return pump and a random flow generator.

I have this one:

Absolutely awesome. Programing is a pain in the neck, honestly. But once you figure it out, it works exactly as it should. You can create different patterns and program different intensities throughout the day. I can't really go above 1-2 on the power (ranges from 1-4) in the 10 gallon nano because it's too much, but it works really well for me.

I like the Aqamai KPS Wavemaker way more than the others. Once you figure out the app it is a breeze. Also, you can get super specific on the schedule and intensity if you want. Way customizable. I use it in a 13.5g EVO.
