I agree......cover the back and maybe remove the stick on thermometer and put one in the filter so the viewer only has the scape and livestock to focus on
I’d definitely invest in a controller for your heater or replace it yearly in case it fails it would be sad to see that beautiful tank cooked. Heaters are prob the highest probability of catastrophic failure imo.
