Nassarius snail ... need some advice

Hi all, got myself a nassarius snail and it’s been great just staying around the bottom eating and filtering the substrate but the last two days he has been sitting at the top of the tank and moves about , all my parameters are great but just seams to hang about on the glass ? Any idea

Certainly is haha seems to stay up the top then goes back in when I feed my fish

That looks... enourmous. I have some big nassarius.. but.. that seems absurdly huge? Maybe the scale is just off in the photo, how big is that thing?

I sometimes see nassarius snails on the glass, but not often and usually when I do see them on the glass it’s at night or early morning. That isn’t typical in my experience.

Hahaha probably about an inch big , looks bigger on the pic , he’s down in the substrate now

My Babylon nassarius snail does this after feeding the tank. He likes to go above the water and hangout waiting for me to hand feed him.

Im doubting thats a nassarius but may be its cousin - The whelk snail which gets large. Can you provide a couple of pics under white lights?

Yeah.... that is weird. Not sure what that is but it definitely has plans of it's own.

Hahaha I gotta chime in and say I am curious as well. Sorry that we are not really addressing the question, but that does seem to be a pretty big nassarius snail and it seems like we are all just super curious.
