Came back from a trip a couple days ago and luckily everything was alright with the fish tank. While I was gone, I found out that there were some severe storms that hit my area and put my residence out of power for a little more than 36 hours.

Lol not much to see honestly. Haven't been home much recently. Trying to get this stand stained and the tank plumbed and ready to go because I think my current tank has a very very small leak. I've noticed salt creep on one of the seams towards the top.

Just have to put on the corner trim and put a bottom in it and it will be good to go!

Looking good man. I'm liking it.
Why isn't it cycling yet though?

Well I've been debating whether I should set it up yet or not because my lease is up in 3 months and I'm not sure if I'm going to stay there. If I set it up, by the time the tank gets done cycling it will be close to having to tear it down again to move possibly. So I may wait which is better that way. Then I can get some better things to add like a nice sump, nice circulation pumps, maybe a controller.

It's also possible I set it up because I think my tank now is starting to leak a little bit near the top seam of the tank. I've been watching it carefully and I'm not sure if it was from the seam or what it was because it stopped.

No real updates. I got some new snails but that's about it. I've currently been trying to get rid of the cyano so I put some chemipure in the sump and it seems to be working. Now that the cyano is starting to go away, I'm starting to see what appears to be a little bit of gha on the rocks. Just gotta figure out how to effectively get fit of that now.

A little nerve racking filling the tank up for the first time on the stand I built myself. But it checked out so I can get this show on the road now. Just gotta order a sump, some glue to hold the rocks together, and plumb this sucker.
