Well my $45.00 ATO from Amazon has failed for the third time to where the safety float has had to save the day. Done with this junk! I like having dual floats/sensors, but most of all I don't want a flood!

I have an AutoAqua Smart ATO and am about to order another one (and have been very pleased), but if you are willing to pay a premium then the Tunze may be the best in class.

Mine is a 5gl Trigger systems Ruby with BRS Dual control pump kit which they don.t sell anymore but I think they sell the pieces. The only problem I've had was my fault because I put one of the controllers upside down. It's been running for 2+yrs otherwise. The only other issue is ATO tank is to small need a 8" wide for space but everyone wants to much $ for them & I don't have the tools to make one. Can't find anyone in my area that works with acrylic either. Still looking for other options.

I run both IceCap and Tunze and never really a issue with either.
The only issue I have with Tunze is I have had to replace the pumps once in a while.

I you already have a controller, an AquaLifter and a couple float sensors are tough to beat for the simplicity and cost.

The nano?
No sorry the 3155. Tunze is good quality and they stand by their products. Had a warranty issue with a couple of powerheads and they took care of me. If you think you'll upgrade in the future I'd consider the 3155 though.

Coral Box A-100, three years, no problems.
That being said, optical sensors do wear out after a year or so, and the optical sensor needs a snail guard.
