Need advice on my 180 gallon 72x24x24 lighting

I have been running 6 sbreef lights at 100% both channels for a couple years now. Ive had 1-2 crashes where ive lost my sps colonies and have been looking at my tank while I build it up once again. When I look at the tank it is too much white even with 2 t-5's. I am contemplating replacing them or adding some Radions xr15. i have room for 4 of them with the current set up but they still may not fix my white light issue (currently sitting around 11-12k by my estimation). So i am thinking of maybe replacing all the sb reef lights with radions I was thinking 6 xr15's G5 Blues. Will this be plenty for my sps aspirations of growing(coloring) sps on the bottom of my tank or is 8 a must. they will hang about 14in off the water surface. I currently can grow sps on the bottom just they don't color as well(higher end sps).

I would say get the 6 and see how you like them. If you want a little more coverage you can always add 2 more down the road.

Fwiw I personally would go with some reefi duo extremes over the reportedly problematic g5s.

Does your tank have plastic braces?

its acylic so 1 acylic brace across the middle...I decided to go a different route and upgrade something else lol

I got some RB's on one of my tanks.
If I turned up the whites to 100%, Orlando Airport traffic would be trying to land in my yard.
I keep mine at the lowest you can get them.
I've never seen whites in a unit as bright as RB's
Turn them down.

I wish I could turn my whites all the way up. I much prefer the way it looks closer to 10-12k. Par is too high though.
