So I have a goniopora and on the side of the skeleton it started growing this white sponge with a pulp at the end, does anybody know what it is? Also should I be worried?? View attachment 1122043

Looks like a gigantic pineapple sponge. They are good filter feeders, but usually show up in numbers, like in a sump, and then self limit.

Anything can annoy coral. You can remove it if you want. More will grow but not necessarily on the coral again

Pineapple sponges are usually pretty harmless. Unless the coral is remaining closed all the time, I'd leave it be.

Won't hurt the goni. Once you have a ton of them in your sump and overflow, they become no cost filtration for the entire system.
