It only started closing up right when the clowns died which is a bit weird but I did do a water change after the first one died so it could be that maybe?
Its possible and not sure how you are testing but if you are using API tests, take a water sample to an LFS that does not use API kits and see what readings they come up with

Nothing has changed in terms of flow and light, dont think it’s dino cause i have diatoms rn, no signs of dino and there is a lot of nutrients, I need to get a phosphate checker but my nitrates are 10-20 so those are pretty good
Those are examples given

Checked my nitrates again, didn’t really have time to go to a LFS but with my API one it should like a color that was in between 10-20 couldn’t really tell but was closer to the 10 side. While I was about to turn off my lights and stuff, I saw this little string with a couple of bubbles on it. I got scared as I was sure that it was dino but I removed the string and other things it was attached to immediately. It could have been a small string or diatom that got some airbubbles on it.

Seems you need to find the root cause. My immediate thought went to water quality when you mentioned the anemone. If the fish were fine for 3 weeks as you stated and anemone started acting funny at the same time they died maybe water is a problem. Ammonia/nitrite? Toxin? How old is the tank? Size? Is your temperature stable? Maybe something is stressing out the fish and lowering their immunity. The other thing could be from the last clowns perhaps a disease was left dormant in the tank.

Well no, after the fishes died then the anemone started acting weird, not at the same
time. Like maybe 1 day after. Tank started around october but I did a fish less fallow from november until end of december. Temperature is stable. It is a 30 gallon tank. I was just pointing out about the anemone maybe it had something to do about the clowns.

Hey, one last thing. For the medicine, I have to turn off my carbon but I have a HOB filter. So what I did is just plug it out but I am thinking to just take the carbon out of the filter and plug it back in. Would that work?

Cut the top of the cartridge across and shake carbon out onto a paper towel and save it. After medicating, pour back into cartridge and re-use it

It is an aquaclear 30. I just took out the carbon and turned the filter back on. I was going to replace the carbon this weekend either way so I just threw away the carbon
