Thanks, for the insight everyone. what about Basslet Royal Gramma, CLEANER SHRIMP, Bar (zebra) Goby

If this is in addition to what you posted above these are all fine.

Consider a trio of the zebra darts vs a single and they do very well in groups.

And as a group they entertain very well.

I’m looking to add a couple more fish to my 75g mixed reef and call it done. Current residents: 2 percula clowns, one lawnmower blenny, one yellow and one Kole Tang, one Sally Lightfoot and one emeral crab, and various numbers trochus, turbo, cerith , bumble bee snails, fighting conchs and a pistol shrimp. Kole tang is the PITA of the tank, thinks he’s the blenny boss.
Thinking of sturdy small fish like damsels, chromises or wrasses. Had two reef chromis before the velvet wreaked havoc last spring. They were cool. Or yellow coris wrasse or some of the least of the aggressive damsels NOT the black and white ones. Something that might deter some of the koles attention.
Any suggestions?

If your kole is aggressive now, then things will only get worse as it matures. 75g is small for 1 tang, let alone 2. I strongly recommend rehoming the kole.

In tanks of comparable size, I have had kole tangs relentlessly chase wrasses.

Some of the Chrysiptera damsel species, such as talbot, springeri, azure, and rollandi, are more peaceful, but can still hold there own.

Planning stage of an inwall 125g.

I want this centered around a pair of fish but not cardinals or anemone fish or other commonly seen pairs.

Other fish would either be a group of Evansi anthias or a few species of fairy wrasse, havent decided tbh.

Corals would i keep would be decided on the pair I select, i know below is a list of angels so this might end up fowlr.

Some ideas i was thinking of

- Pair of Paracentropyge multifasciata, i know they are finicky to get eating. I do not know their temperament well for tankmate selection.

-Pair of Genicanthus sp. angels
Most coral safe of the ideas i have.

-Pair of of Centropyge, what species to avoid for aggression to other tank mates? My current tank’s coral beauty has no aggression issues, but its not in a pair either.

-open to other ideas as well, this is simply the planning stages. Really would like a pair of butterflies but no idea how to accomplish a bonded pair here. And not looking at zosters.

Genicanthus don't form bonded prs.

Flame angels seem to have a decent amount of info on successfully pairing them.

Multibandeds would mix well with evansi anthias.

Here’s my fish wishlist for my 29 standard. I know the angel and clownfish fill be slightly aggressive, but I’m basing the stocking off of the angel and 6 line.
Dwarf Pygmy cherub angelfish
6 Line Wrasse
Cleaner Goby
1 Occ. clownfish
Midas Blenny

2 clowns
starry blenny
yellow coris wrasse

Midas Blennys are cool, they swim like an eel! So are Bangai cardinals. The cardinals aren’t very active, but you’ll see them most of the time. Something else you could consider are blue green chromis. They school together and are pretty fun to watch. Clowns might be territorial though.

I am upgrading my tank to a 55x36x24 and I want to add a few more fish.

The tank has 2 areas: Anemones (1 magnifica and 30+ BTA's) and Other corals.

The current stock is:

3 Ocellaris clownfish (living in the magnifica)
2 Banggai cardinals (usually hang around the BTA's)
2 Threadfin cardinals
2 Flame angels
2 Yellow assessors
1 Tomini tang
1 Diamond goby

I was thinking about increasing thr group of threadfin cardinals and getting another diamond goby and try to pair them up.

The problem is finding more fish that will hang around the BTA's.

Foxface feedback... So I went and got myself a one dot foxface recently. They always did look pretty cool on YouTube videos. Seeing it upfront I got to say: their overgrown eyes make them look paranoid. And they are! I got attached still, but not enough. I had a peaceful stress free reef beforehand, well, unless I rescape the rock work which I do way too often. So often that my clown goby and my clownfish aren’t even hiding anymore. The rest just pops back out less than 15 seconds after I’m done. Anyway, that foxface addition got the stress level waaaay up in my tank. The thing just freaked out constantly and seemed to always be hyperventilating itself. It was pretty ate like a pig but was so so nervous it wasn’t fun looking at my tank anymore. So this long rant was to give future owners a heads up. I sent it back to the lfs after about a month. I got 4 small fish and a Kole tang in a 90 gallons. Everything is peachy despite having an azure damsel and a 6 line wrasse together. LA recommends 70 gallons for the one dot ff but I would advise a much larger tank just so it can hide away from life and finally relax. Thanks for reading, happy reefing! ;)

2 clowns
starry blenny
yellow coris wrasse
Yellow tail damsel, most hawkfish if you don’t have small shrimp and crabs that you’re attatched to, same with most toby puffers, or a chromis (I recommend only 1 because I had 3 blue-greens in my 46 gallon and they went ballistic on each other)

The suggestions of midas blenny, flame hawk, and azure damsel are all good.

The cherub is borderline too big. Other than that the list is fine.

Adding more threadfins will be fine.

You will be hard pressed to find peaceful fish that will utilize the bta area. You could attempt more clowns, but that may not work out. Dascyllus damsels can host in anemones, but they are nasty.

I have clown trio that has been stable for some time and I am afraid that adding other clowns, even of other species may disrupt the trio.

Those damsels are great when they are tiny, but as you pointed out become a problem when they grow up.

I haven't found any other fish that likes to lurk near the BTA's as the Banggai cardinals do.

The only option that occured to me was to use the rocks with anemones to build a cave that will attract cave dwellers. A pair of small marine bettas? Will the threadfins and yellow assessors be safe? I have no shrimp.

I've had full grown marine bettas with fish as eviota gobies and they ignored. They are really a shrimp specialist. Your fish will be safe.

Long term .... would you trust a Midas blenny with a green mandarin dragonet or fire fish or would the blenny harass them?

Thanks @eatbreakfast the pair were small when I got them but he’s been a real b***^^d and time guarding his food relentlessly. The yellow gets along with everyone. Seriously thinking of trading in.
