Need help identifying wether this is an disease or an injury

My carpenter wrasse just completed quarantine and is/was planning on putting him in the main display this coming Tuesday. I went away last night with the fish looking healthy and normal, but when I arrived home today I found these rather large white spots on his head. Could someone please tell me if this is ich ( I think the spots are too large) or if this is an injury possibly caused from smacking his head off of the lid while jumping. The fish had been prophalatically treated with copper, but has been in copper free water for close to 3 weeks. If this is an injury, do I treat it and if so with what and how? He is till acting normal and was eating as I took these pics. Sorry but these were the best I could get.

While the head shows sign of possible injury from the pvc. The pectoral fins show signs of possible rot associated with bacterial issue and best addressed by treating with seachem kanaplex in your quarantine setting.

As a side note - have you treated the wrasse for flukes yet? Might not be a bad idea before releasing it from quarantine. That would also give these white spots time to resolve.
2x Prazipro, 8 days apart with good aeration…..

@Jay Hemdal. I have heard of wrasse dying in Prazi so I elected to treat them with 2 full rounds of GC spaced 5 days apart.

General Cure is praziquantel, plus metronidazole (which is an old drug, with very little benefit, and it reduces the ability to dose GC in tanks with invertebrates). Also, the five day spacing won't control egg laying flukes.

I am aware of a smaller dose of Prazi as well as Metro. Just to be clear, I dosed this, waited 48 hrs. Then dosed again and changed the water after 48 hrs of that dosing. Then waited 5 days and did the whole thing again. Did I do this wrong?

Usually - its 2 8 day treatments.
