I noticed these little critters last month and was told they could be hydroids? I took out about 20 of them and they are slowly dwindling. I only see them on the glass and on the rocks. I heard hydroids can sting coral and are like walking aptasia. The only way I can remove them is by using a turkey baster and suck them out. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Could be hydroid or aiptasia; both of which are cnidarians (includes corals) and most of which sting. I think it’s aiptasia— either way, I’d remove it! I’d siphon it out :) if it continues to spread, or siphoning isn’t working, you can cover it with glue/paste, or inject lemon juice into the polyp’s base to kill it
