Looks more like a tubelaria hydroid or hydroid member . With same habits of a fan-worm, they are not harmful but can multiply. Best removal is either a dab of Gel super glue from dollar store over the top of their head OR direct water flow towards them, not at them and they will starveCan i just leave it?
Not sure if they’re Tubularia since these do not have feathered tentacles with banding like OP’s hitchhikers and (at least from what I’m seeing on Google Images) have tentacles that bend downward rather than upward.Looks more like a tubelaria hydroid or hydroid member . For infestations which you dont have - fenbendazole is a good remover
I would personally leave them alone as they are benign. Can i just leave it?
