Hi. I am hopeful that someone with this fixture can tell me what the distance between the two wires is for hanging one of these? I have one on the way and want to get the wires up and ready in advance. Thanks

Thanks for the info. I really appreciate that. I have done this about 12-15 times over the last 30 years for myself and others. In fact I just did one about two weeks ago. I am confident that if I have the dimensions between the two mounting points I can get it right.

Your welcome, just thought I would throw that out there.. wish I had been smart enough to hang my lights 30 years ago, I built a monstrous canopy for my first reef back in the 80’s and it was a absolute nightmare to remove when servicing my tank ;) You can just see the canopy in this pic, in addition to the weight and size I had decorations hanging all over it ;Facepalm

I think those of us that have been around a while have all gone through the "canopy stage". I have built stand and canopies and sprayed them with the ole Rustoleum "splatter" paint. Sometimes a canopy or mounting legs is the only option.

In case anyone needs this info in the future... it is adjustable with the widest point being about 19.25 inches . you can go more narrow from there within reason. So, say down to 15 inches or so.
