Hi! So this clown is already in a QT. There looks to be some sort of gash or lump on his side and head. Finished copper and prazi treatment and am now monitoring it. Is this a bacterial infection or bite marks or brook? Need help to diagnose and what to do. Thanks

It looks like an injury - the lighting is not great - are there any symptoms - with what has he been quarantined (duration) - any other fish?

bacterial and possible clown bruising and best treatment in a separate tank is Seachem neoplex with added aeration. As for bruising we see it get better or worse and often with tank raised specimens but treatment should help.

36 days copper at 0.2ppm ionic copper.
Water Change and cuprisorb then wait 3 days.
14 days in prazi dosed 3 times every 4 days.
Water change and here I am.

Currently I have a juvenile hippo blue tang and 2 clowns. I’ve seen the gash/lump thingy on one of the clowns a few days after starting the prazi treatment. I can see them scratching and twitching sometimes. Does this mean I should do prazi again?

I have a hippo blue tang and another clown in the same qt tank. Can I treat them altogether? I have cipro in hand. Will that work instead of the Seachem Neoplex?

Is there also a spot at the bottom of the middle white stripe? The pictures are kind of blurry, but does it look like the pictures in this post?

Do not use cipro which is for humans. Seachem neoplex is best and others while not needed can be treated

Yes it looks exactly like the pictures in the post. Bruising/lessions.

I did another waterchange and did a fw on all of them. I see no signs of flukes dropping. The bruise/lession started ever since prazi. Could it be that the cause is the flukes leaving the body? I’m going to my lfs tomorrow to get neoplex incase of bacterial infection according to @vetteguy53081

Flukes if any will leave little pin holes and even bleed out. This can be a bite mark but is looking to be infected hence the Neoplex as a treatment

I haven’t seen any correlation with these bruises and any treatment. They seem most common in newly acquired clownfish.
