Currently i cant seem to get a good gauge on where my AI Nero 3 should go in my tank. i replaced the stock pump head with a random flow head as well. i feel like no matter where i put the pump its pumping out too much flow in one area and irritating something else and thats with the Nero going only at 25%.

Anyone got any tips on good placement to keep debris always flowing around so my filter sock catches it in these tanks?

Personally, I prefer using multiple smaller pumps that move water against each other than using one larger pump.

If using just one pump, I'd recommend placing it LOWER in the water column and directed ACROSS the aquascape (you'll need to fiddle with it to find a place where it doesn't disturb your substrate)

You can turn that Nero down like to almost 1%. Love those pumps, have one in my tank right now as well!
