Hello everyone! Long time lurker, first time posting. Can someone help identify what this whitish thing is that started to grow on my zoa's? I've had this frag for about a month and this just started growing about a week ago. I fear its aptasia but it doesn't quite look like other pics I've seen. Thanks for any help!

It looks like a white sponge coral. It’s invasive and a pain to remove. Good luck lol!!

Its NOT aptasia but rather cryptic poriferan sponge which can be evasive and overtake frag.
You want to pull the plug and place in a container of tank water and pull of with a dental pick or small crochet needle or similar and discard
