I had great customer service with Octo. It didn't work out but very happy and everything was kept professional.

I ended up going with just a solid glass top and adding air pump. Of course this is small tank. You could have holes drilled in spots and such and even add hinges as other said if you get right glass and pre cut.

Contact this guy through his website or email

He can make them custom for larger sizes and rimless tanks if you don’t mind it being in sections
Do you have a pic of your tank with this lid? Does the condensation bother you or lighting ? Just had one my clownfish jump from my new build today smh ): & don’t wanna spend 200$ for a kraken for my jbj45

72x30 x 24 looking for best custom lids?

Is plexi. Or acrylic a fine option ?

anyone point me in right direction as to where to order a super nice piece

IMG_4352.jpeg Did the old wire mesh DIY lid which works for now but it’s clunky and not great IMG_4292.jpeg
This is the Red Sea or BRS? How are you liking it?

Pics of the lid? Pics of the lid on my tank?
Or pics of my tank growing corals with a lid? I’ll attach a bunch

Condensation is non issue, it self cleans itself. Droplets form and drip back in the tank. They don’t dry up and form salt creep. Minimal impact on lighting. Apogee shows less than 10 par.

I had TopLids make a custom top for my 54x30 top. Really great experience. Expensive, but high quality I ended up with a 3 piece design which helps out a lot when messing with the tank. I also added evap covers if I ever want to have more of a solid top. They worked with me to place a hole for my Avast feeder. All fits perfectly.

I got a Kraken for my Evo and it's been a good, long-lasting lid. I'm designing a Walter Lid for my new 83gal tank 48"x20". Just rethinking how I want to set it up with or without feeding/maintenance doors. Decisions, decisions ..
