I'm about to set up a sump frag area (for acros) that is about 10" x 10" and water level is about 8". I'm currently looking at AI Prime HD and Kessil A160. I'm not sure which one is more suitable for acros or neither are. I currently run T5 on my DT and would love to use T5 but for such a small area I can only use LED. But I would like the PAR to be around 200 - 250 since most of my corals do really well at this range.

Thanks!

The 160

I wouldn't put acros in the sump though.

A sump is a gravity filter. All the stuff from the dt fall down , settle ,and can't come back up.

Acros need a lot of flow. If you put decent flow in the sump you blow the stuff you don't want in the dt back into the water column so it goes back up into the Dt.
