Neptune DOS minimum dose (mL) & max number of doses per day?

Hello,

I know a lot of you guys are running the DOS. A friend of mine is setting up a reef and we need to get him dialed in and I’m curious about this pumps capability.

The minimal dose with my GHL is 0.1mL. I was hoping the Neptune DOS can do the same

Also, I can spread my dose out to 150X a day. This will have the doser dosing about every 6.25 minutes. Can the DOS spread it out this much or more?

Yes, 0.1ml is the minimum. Yes, you can spread a single dose out across the entire day if you so desire (or different amounts during set time periods). You can set this individually for each pump, and if you run a Trident you can have it influence (+/-) the dosing amounts to keep within a specified range.

Max dose’s per day? 20, 100, 150, 500???

How many separate intervals? A lot. I have mine set to run 6 times per day @2-hour intervals, so it appears to run in 20-min segments for each interval (for however long it needs to apply that portion of the dose).

My best guess would be 72 (3 per hour x 24 hours).

I’ve looked but can’t seem to find the official number of individual doses allowed per day. Not concerned with volume, but if somebody knows that I’d be interested to hear that too.

Nobody that owns the DOS knows their max doses in 24 hrs? Honestly kinda surprised that Neptune systems didn’t list that information somewhere. I haven’t been able to find it.
