I've got these dots all over the tank glass, I suspect they might be Nerite eggs or Margaritas? (They are super easy to get off the glass, they aren't spiral shaped so I don't think they are Spiroid worms(spelling?). They reappear after a week or so, and I mean, there is probably a 100 or or more that show up between the weekly water changes. The back wall was covered for a while, but since that is where our clown hangs out, that number has been dwindling. Here is the best picture I could get.

If they are Nerites, how come there is so many eggs? (I only have 4 Nerite snails).

Do any survive? Or do they become a live food substitutes?
In my experience they become food. I have 4 wrasses (soon to be 5), a boxfish, a filefish and a swallowtail angel that are always hunting the rocks and pulling stuff off of them not to mention 3 rock boring urchins.
