So I'm currently cycling my 20 gallon cube and I would like to have everything somewhat dialed in before I get a pair of clowns in the next few weeks. I have a Nero 5 in my tank and I was wondering what I should have it set at approximately. I'm planning on having a mixed reef the Clowns and cuc. Attached are pictures of my current settings and I'm worried it might be set too high but I'm not sure.

That's alot of flow for a 20gallon. I'd maybe start at 20-25% at max and see how much of a typhoon of sand you get

Yeah it moves a little sand right now. I have a corner that the sand gets cleared out of over the course of a few days. So 25% should be enough? It hits 1900gph max right now.

For reference, i have one in a 30 and it is set to 30% max day and 20% max night. I had it higher but the mushrooms were not very happy about it. At these levels the clowns, pajamas, shrimp, cuc and all the other coral is happy.

That's really good to know. Thank you. The pump should be high enough to disturb the surface correct?
