I am really thinking about one of these tanks...as a 2nd tank if you could do it all over again would you?
Thats what i did. I sold a 210 gallon fully loaded mix reef and have been in love with my nuvo 25

tbh, if i had the funds i think i would have gone with the 30 nuvo (also if landlord permits) since of the footprint 36" long, but the 25 lagoon is awesome little tank

I believe the nuvo 25 and the nuvo 40 have the same footprint

The 40 would have been too big for my apartment complex, I believe the biggest tank they would approve is a 30. But I would still go for the 3 feet long vs 2 feet long if I could do it all over XD

Because of the depth. There 30L was my first choice, but found a 40 on trade. The extra depth gives lots of scaping flexibility.

Bad news first:

Lost a few SPS,
TCK Pikachu
Red Dragon
Sunselt Milli
Miyagi Tort
Cali Tort
PC Rainbow

Out of these only the Red Dragon and Sunset Mill are alive. Which is fine for now.

So started the Triton Method and my dKH is holding steadily at 8 and as well started the Zeovit yesterday. So in 30 days time I will be changing out my Carboon and Zeolites.

I also purchased a few new fishes and coral (LPS).

Corals:
Short purple Goniopora
Multihead Duncans
Various Zoas
Multihead Torch
Orange Birdnest

Fishes:
Damselx2
Yellow Watchman Goby (Small)
Green Spotted Mandarin

I plan to grab two high-end SPS at the end of the month if my three SPS survives and do well.

I will do some pictures today when I get a chance.

Yeah a lil early for spa. Evryones tank cycles different. My best advice is never add sps until you see sponges growing. Once you start to naturally grow those little white sponges your good. Thats my rule at least.

Also you better but some pods in that tank or your going to loose you mandarin. You can dose tigger pods daily until your tank can sustain its own. Your lfs should have them in a refrigerated section. Do that soon, they have a super fast metabolism.

Quick Update:

Bought a pale green mandarin, around the time I purchased the pods, to see if it will last, well it has so far. We will see what happens down the road. I will seed the tank at least once a month if not twice.

I had a power outage a week or so ago which made me lose my SPS. I am attempting once again but might be failing due to my RODI tank getting low. The funny part is I swore I topped in a day ago.

I will be sending my water sample to do a ICP-Analysis.

And also bought another RBTA, just a normal green one.

Will post pics when I get a chance!
