here is what I am thinking
Apex jr
Extra eb8
Atk
2 dos--- one for auto water change and one for dosing would all of that work together

Jr can only do 7 modules.. Display counts as a module.. I had Jr loved it but upgraded to the classic because of expandability

U can do an eb 8.. Display is one module, atk is sec mod for u, 3 and 4 is dos,.. So after that you can only 3 more modules like a pm1 and pm2 and auto fish feeder for example.. Then u r maxed out..

Believe me, you will wish you had the classic. Once you get into what the apex can do. You will out grow it. I have the jr on my tank. However I plan on getting the classic or the newest model soon. I may use the Jr on a frag tank in the future.

I would save up for the classic or new apex if I were u as well.

I have ten modules connected and I don't even know how. I got there
Screen
Wavs
Atk
Fmm
2 eb8s
Break out box
Afs
And two more I can't rember right now

The good thing is tho the atk can be stand alone so if u do get a JR and u get maxed out u can run the atk solo so u can have another slot open. I also do not look at my screen if u run fusion u might not need that either opening up another slot

Dos are over priced in my mind esp when ur only getting two doseing heads.

But either way u go I still recomend going with the classic or newer one and if u do get one try to put the apex close enough so u can hardwire it to ur modem take away the wifi problems

Certainly Autocorrected from Apex.

The DOS is good, though not really quiet. It won't likely be an issue unless you're cranking out hundreds of ML per day.

The only other way of controlling dozers with the Apex that I'm aware of is using standalone dosers and switching them with your EB outlets.

There's nothing wrong with the Jr, but I'd really suggest going with the Classic. I assume you're looking at a budget. Well, here's how I would address that.

You won't need to dose for a while, and just using kalkwasser can provide all you need for a long time. Do you really need two DOS now?

If you're going to do the Zeovit, Triton, or Aquaforest methods where people dose several additives daily, then automation might be more desirable.
