So we finally have life in the tank. Added a sweet Talbots Damsel and a frag from my 65. Have a few more frags on the way and hope to have them and a better update tm. I do have the light set on acclimation as I’ve just started using it and didn’t want to freak out the fish. Have some snails in and throughout as well to start the CUC. I apologize if the pics are blue or dark. I just took them quickly between calls because I have been off R2R for too long.

Hey folks. Sorry it’s been a while since I posted. Been moving forward very slowly on the tank to get everything right. Had an algae outbreak that was pretty wicked and also added a few things to the tank. First I added a Talbot damsel. What a great fish to watch. He has a ton of personality and loves to dart through the caves. Also added a pincushion urchin. After decimating they algae bloom he has been steadily feasting on supplemental algae. And he loves to carry his Viking helmets around. So today I signed up for a 3 month subscription for World Wide Corals. Not only am I excited to start adding some color in the tank I’m also pumped to fill this rockwork with completely random pieces from @WWC . This is gonna be legit! I’ve always wanted to add their frags to one of my tanks and now I’m going to let them randomly design my office tank. I will continue to update as things move along….but to tide you over here’s Ivar the Urchin rockin his hat! (Yes I know the glass is dirty in the pics but I honestly didn’t expect him to keep the hat on at all times after I took the shot. Lol )

@sp1187 i just got the confirmation email that the first shipment will come in Wednesday. Pretty quick turn around. Can’t wait to see what @WWC coral club is all about!

Coral club shipment came in today. Super happy with the first shipment. All look happy and healthy. Will update more as I get them placed but as with any good thing plans are changing a bit. Looks like the Floating Reef and office are floating downstairs soon. Time to setup permanent residence in a different part of the house. Work finally let us know that we will be working from home when not meeting with customers so it’s time to make a permanent office and let the kiddos each have a bedroom. More updates to come but here’s some pics of the new frags.

24 hours after delivery and everything is happy and healthy. So far I have played a game of keepaway with the frag rack and the urchin. Somehow on the last call he made a stealth move. My hand might be forced in gluing the plugs if I can’t keep him away, but a Viking is never satisfied! Lol

Alright folks we are back online. What a productive Saturday. The kids and wife went to a bday party and I got to move my office. Built a corner desk and got the tank moved. Now a few small water changes just to make sure we keep any spikes away. Fingers crossed!

Hey @revhtree the tank is coming along. Had set backs along the way like anyone else in this hobby but battling back. Battling a nasty diatom outbreak that choked out a lot of my frags and killed my water quality. A couple of vacations and other events forced my hand on utilizing a tank sitter (good ol’ mom) and you know how the story goes. Lol I’ll post pics soon and hopefully get back on the path of healthy reefing!
