Hi everyone! I just wanted to share some progress I have on a new system I'm building here with a local shop (Aquarium King). There will be two tanks, a 72x30x24 main reef tank and a 36x30x12 lagoon tank (which I'm intending to run clams, scallops and maybe some clowns with mangrove tree in). Here are some photos below of what I'm moving out of and moving into. I'll be posting videos on my YouTube channel which I've resurrected - feel free to subscribe to see updates! Link Here

I also did a really fun DIY project for relocating my RODI system outside which I'll be posting soon, its about 90% done, just need to also run my fresh air intake line for the skimmer to it.

Original concept sketch where I was doing a 62inch main but figured it made more sense to extend to a 72inch later on. We went with 1/2 inch low iron glass.

Here is the final design which we went with (minus additional bracing I sprung for in each corner.

Love this, I'll be following along! What are you doing for RO water storage? Is that outside or are you skipping the storage and going directly into the tank?

@jkobel I did consider this however I'm skipping the storage and doing what I currently have which is a solenoid with Neptune ATK running directly into the sump. Being in Florida - putting storage containers outside would mean the water would be get super-heated and i'd likely have to deal with stupid things like algae and maybe running a chiller (which I shouldn't have to anymore). Inside the house unfortunately I don't have room (maybe my next house though!) I just picked up some 96 gallon trash cans from home depot last night so I can prep my water making and self-serve.

Just posting some more update photos. Since December I've been acclimating the tank to the Kessil 360X's and its been going real well. The stands just came in from powder coating and turned out really good!
