Hey there! New here and although I'm not New to SW and reefkeeping I JUST bought and transported my new tank a few days ago! I acquired this BEAUTIFUL cherrywood custom stand, canopy and 90g tank with inhabitants. It was professionally maintained and has been established for 7 years.
It was a 14 hour day (2.5 hr travel to get it)
I transported all the fish with the intention of same day setup. I had 60g of heated sw already mixed the day before pickup and we transported as much water as possible. It was a very thought out process.
The fish include a Heniochus, foxface, blue tang, bird wrasse, maroon clown, and a Falco hawkfish. The rock is just base rock. This tank has been setup for as little maintenance as possible.
So far its day 3 and everyone has been doing great. Salinity 1.023, ph 8.3, temp 79, nitrite/nitrate 0 ammonia. 5ppm which is expected. I have dosed with beneficial bacteria and prime and have an ammonia pad in the sump tray. Starting to get diatoms so the cycle is going well.

Awesome job! I've had to move an entire tank before and it's not easy. How's it doing these days?

Its doing really well! Tank has finished its mini cycle and everything has been stable for a bit. fish are doing great, I do have to get rid of the tang and maroon clown though because are beating up and biting the other fish. The tang seems to think he rules the tank now and honestly he's way too big for the tank.

They are one of my favorite sw fishes as well.
The tank is going excellent! We have since rehomed the hippo tang and everyone has been super happy (he was bullying fish and imo too big for a 90g) and I've been slowing upgrading the filtration. I have very high nitrates right now so I'm working on fixing that. But otherwise the waters been cleaner than it has been in a long time

My old light crapped out so I bought a 48" Current marine Orbit. Makes the tank look much better compared to the old yellow lighting
