Pink is definitely a long tentacle I’ve had pink malus too there’s definitely no mistake in identifying them
I get the scientific names on the list I’ve gotten straight yellow and pink seabeas before they always come labeled as beaded anemones tho the pink and yellows that is
Here’s some more pics as it’s settles InOk, not going to argue but the malus always have that larger space inner area without tentacles. I can see a stark difference with the other long tentacle types next to them.
I'll admit it's hard to tell till a nem is thriving to really ID them and a few of those are pretty raw. In the end it doesn't really matter.

As of yet, I'm not sure. It's got a thriving population of millipedes and house spiders at the moment, so I may try to get my hands on some giant millipedes or something strange like that. It's possible I may try some frogs or a gecko in there instead, but at the moment I want it to be as low-maintenance as possible.

I'm excited to start looking again! years ago, I had a fantastic one that was teal base w/ fade to purple tips, it grew to over 2' in diameter at one point and was my pride and joy. But one day it decided to go on a trip, and got ripped up in a powerhead. After that, it took another trip and lost every tentacle it had! It slowly recovered them, but it never grew back to it's former glory. It eventually succumbed to some sort of infection and passed away.

It was the only one like it at the shop! All of the others were green, and a few of them had purple tips. It was a steal at 60 bucks! I really hopeI can find another like it.

It seems like we've got very similar interests lol I've currently got an uninhabited 18"/18"/24" vivarium that I'm growing out, it's been a fun little challenge to keep. I've had them in the past actually! However, in the long run they didn't work out. too expensive to feed & too much maintenance on top of my tank & plants. However, I love designing vivariums so at some point the urge may strike. I try to keep them animal-friendly just in case
back at it with carpets went on a coral binge for awhile there lol here is my gigantea flushing tank thought I’d share since it works very well. It is a 75 gallon tank drilled low, it can be drained through a siphon at a bulk head. The tank drains completely exposing the nems to air for an hour so they can expel any gross water trapped inside them from shipment. I only fill with about 20 gallons at a time. This works great as it forces the Nem to deflate when you add new water this signals to the anemones to inflate again. Sometimes the water has to be changed a few times a day but this is a great method of flushing carpets. If you choose to use antibiotics this also helps ensure the anemones absorb the medication.
My room with the tanks stays pretty warm there’s a lot of water down here about 1000 gallons helps regulated the room temp stays around 76 ish at night and 77/78 in the day
